This site is where I keep the things I've made. Research projects on one side, personal whimsy on the other.
By day I keep a law school's records systems in order: I'm a Systems and Data Analyst at Georgetown Law, which mostly means crunching Excel sheets and writing Python scripts that turn messy operational and financial workflows into something tidy and automated.
Outside of that I collect vintage pieces and read more fashion analysis than is probably reasonable — how a silhouette gets invented, argued over, and revived interests me as much as the clothes themselves. Film pulls at the same thread. I'll happily lose an evening to why a director put the camera exactly there, and what the shot is quietly saying that the dialogue isn't.
I'm learning to DJ, which so far is mostly failed beat matching in my apartment. I follow markets closely enough thanks to both my finance and data science degrees, which give me a solid foundation in understanding market dynamics. And I think in both English and Chinese, usually switching to whichever one has the better word.
